The surrounding area is famous for its stunning coastal walks, exciting water sports, challenging golf courses and numerous other outdoor pursuits. However, should you simply wish to relax and watch the world go by - there is no better place to do so!
Torquay is at the heart of the best South Devon has to offer its visitors. These Apartments are just a few minutes from the famous Model Village, and the neighbouring resorts of Paignton and Brixham.
Within a 25-mile radius of Torquay, the scenery changes dramatically from the stunning coastline through the beautiful Devon countryside with its picturesque villages to the rugged natural beauty of Dartmoor. There are hundreds of walking and cycle paths throughout the area, which can be enjoyed all year round.
For those who like to shop, the choice is varied and interesting. Torquay boasts a fine town centre with a selection of Department and individual stores.
A little further afield is Totnes, the oldest town in England. This small historic town contains the most original shops to be found anywhere! Paintings and Clothes, Organic Restaurants, Bookshops, Elizebethan market, Totnes castle and of course the River Dart, down which a boat trip takes you through breathtaking scenery to the ancient Naval College town of Dartmouth.
Also within easy travelling distance is Plymouth with its new Aquarium housing the country's largest collection of sharks, Plymouth Dome, and not to be missed the Barbican where the Pilgrim Fathers set off for America.
